The UEFA Super Cup was contested between the winners of the Cup Winners’ Cup and the European Champion Clubs’ Cup between 1973 and 1999, and from 2000 between the winners of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup / UEFA Europa League. The Super Cup was not contested in 1974, 1981 or 1985.
